Super Anti-Inflammatory Golden Milk

Golden Milk

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of milk I use non-dairy coconut or almond milk
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger optional
  • ¼ tsp of ground cardamom optional
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • A sprinkle of black pepper (piperine increases the bioavailability of curcumin by 2,000%.)
  • Honey, maple syrup, or molasses to your desired sweetness

Instructions

  • Whisk all ingredients except the sweetener in a saucepan. Simmer for 5 minutes, and then add your honey, maple syrup, or molasses.
